This collagen-infused mud mask deeply cleanses pores and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and glowing. I love this face mask. I wanted to wait to leave a review until I had used it at least a few times because no product is going to magically show you instant results after the first one or 2 uses. I just used it for the 4th time and I am so happy with the results. So, I've never been a big fan of the mud type masks because of how messy the take off part is. However, I'm happy to deal with that with this particular product because this one truly leaves my skin glowing, feeling as soft as a baby's skin, more youthful and I am even left with a more even complexion. I start with any clinique face wash (I have a few different ones I switch between) and then use this right after. My skin feels like it doesn't need anything else after that, but I still follow with my asterwood triple repair serum and then a clinique moisturizer after that. I was just thinking about it, and I think if you just take a tiny bit of the mask, mix it with some water, and use an electronic face exfoliator, it could potentially work really well as a cleanser by itself! So I'm going to try that next time. I don't think I noticed a difference after the first couple of times I used it, but after this time I really noticed my face was glowing and my skin felt tighter. It says to leave it on for 10 minutes, so I did that the first time. 2nd 3rd times I left it on for 15 minutes. Never really hardened. This time I left it on for 20 with a fan blowing on my face to help it harden and I think that helped with the tightening. It just doesn't harden as fast as it should, so I left it on a bit longer than recommended, but that shouldn't be a problem. These are natural minerals, and it won't hurt you to do that. It's difficult to get it off. It takes a while and stains lighter colored rags. It's not sticky. It definitely feels like it's just mud and it hasn't peeled at all for me. With all that said, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a bit too expensive even though it works as well as it does. I can get a 20 pound tub of dead sea salt (andor mud) directly from Israel for less than the cost of this 4 oz jar of mud. So I could be making SO much of this myself for less than the cost of one of these containers. I used to own a business making skincare products and that's how I know. I know a lot about skin care and the cost of this mask is definitely overkill. Just because something works well doesn't mean it has to be way overpriced to make the company as rich as possible.
I have tried numerous products and none has worked as this one. I usually have dry skin, and now it feels soft and smooth. Definitely worth a try if your skin is dry, flaky, or your starting to get unwanted wrinkles

I was unsure of what to expect honestly, I haven't used many face masks. I'm beginning to notice wrinkles in my face so I figured it's best use collagen now! To start, the smell was really nice. Like an ocean breeze of some sort. The application was easy, it was a thick "foam" texture which was satisfying. After it dried I touched my face and the mask was insanely soft. After washing it off, my skin felt the same in the sense where it was insanely soft! I can't say much about the affects as it's only been one day, but so far so good!
